Artists in Businesses:

Western region artists are invited to submit expressions of interest to exhibit artworks in various businesses throughout Hobsons Bay. A diverse range of locations will become gallery spaces as part of Art In Public Places, including cafés, restaurants, salons, bars, professional rooms and more. The project aims to build stronger communities by linking local traders and promoting local artists, and to increase public exposure to the arts. Artists are also able to sell artworks.

Galleries and or Cultural Venues:

Do you operate a gallery, theatre or similar arts venue in Hobsons Bay?. Art In Public Places provides an opportunity to piggy back on a large marketing and publicity campaign that promotes arts activity in Hobsons Bay during Friday 9th March to Sunday 19th April 2009.

Independent Events:

Seeking big ideas! Do you have an urge to do a video projection or a special one off event but the cost in promotion is too high? By linking your event to Art In Public Places you will achieve a cost effective means of promoting your cultural activity. The event must occur within Hobsons Bay and be between 9th of March and 19th of April.
